We've got the latest on tonight's projected line-up against the Sharks, a quick injury update and more before the Sens look to close out their Califoria road trip in San Jose at 10 p.m.

Injury Update

The Sens' 3-game road trip was cut short for Colin White and Ben Harpur as both sustained injuries this week and have been ruled out for tonight's game against the Sharks.
"White and Harpur will be leaving us," said head coach Guy Boucher following Thursday's game in Los Angeles. "They're going back home and both are week-to-week. Probably two weeks, and maybe more, for each of them."
White left the game against the Kings after a big collision white Jake Muzzin and was unable to return while Harpur missed a chunk of time in Anaheim before finishing the game.
Stefan Elliott has been recalled from Belleville as a result.

Meanwhile back in Ottawa, Thomas Chabot, Craig Anderson, Justin Falk and Matt Duchene have all been skating so expect an update early next week on their availability.

Projected line-up

Just one change for tonight's game against the Sharks and that's the Sens debut for the recently acquired Darren Archibald. Archibald has appeared in 52 games with the Vancouver Canucks recording 14 points (6G, 8A) over that span but is very much looking forward to his first game with his new club.
"It's obviously really exciting," said Archibald after this morning's skate. "I was told yesterday that I'd be in tonight so I'm pretty excited to put some new threads on."

Here's a look at the projected line-up in San Jose:
Tkachuk - Smith - Stone
Dzingel - Pageau - Ryan
Balcers - Tierney - Boedker
Paajarvi - Paul - Archibald
Lajoie - Ceci
Wolanin - DeMelo
Borowiecki - Jaros

In Goal

Anders Nilsson (5-10-1) is set to make his third consecutive start as he looks to record his third consecutive win and complete the Californa sweep tonight against the Sharks. Nilsson has been great on the Sens' West Coast road trip and has stopped 55 of the 57 shots he's faced against the Ducks and Kings this week.

Previous meeting

These teams last met in Ottawa back on December 1st where Mikkel Boedker went off for 4 points (1G, 3A) and the Sens bested the Sharks 6-2. Including Boedker, six different Senators found the back of the net in their first meeting this year and Craig Anderson was rock solid stopping 36 of the 38 shots he faced to pick up the decision.
"We've done a really good job of playing strong in our own zone and not forgetting our offensive capabilities," Boedker said following the game. "We have a lot of high-end talent in here and we use that."

Where to Watch

We've got a 10 p.m. start in San Jose tonight and I can't think of a better spot to head out and catch the game at then Local Heroes on Clyde where they'll be serving up personal pitchers of Molson Canadian for just $7.19.
