The Sens are in St. Paul tonight set to face the Wild and we've got 5 things to help you get ready for puck drop.
Lots of line-up notes from earlier today...
- Mark Stone is returning to Ottawa today after leaving last night's game with a chest injury.
- Bobby Ryan moves up to the top line right wing spot to replace Stone while Scott Gomez re-enters the line-up in place of Ryan. Since there was no morning skate today it's unclear if Nick Paul will shift to the wing.
- Ben Harpur has been recalled from Binghamton and will make his NHL debut tonight in place of Michael Kostka who is a bit banged up.
Here's a look at the Sens projected line-up for tonight...
As noted above, Craig Anderson will start in goal for the Sens tonight for the second half of the back-to-back. Andy is still the league-leader in saves this season despite being 11th in time-on-ice which is a pretty indication of the amount of pucks he's seen (new enhanced stat of rubber/60). Andrew Hammond backs him up tonight.
At the other end, it's expected that Devan Dubnyk will start in goal for the Wild.
3. Last meeting
These two teams a little over two weeks ago in Ottawa where Erik Karlsson blasted home the overtime winner to seal the 3-2 win for the home squad. Mika Zibanejad also played hero after he tied the game with just 8 seconds left in the third period while Craig Anderson made 23 saves to earn the decision.
