Game Day 5: Sens vs Sharks

by Craig Medaglia / Ottawa Senators

Here are 5 things you need to know before tonight's game as the Sens get set to face the San Jose Sharks.

1. Line-up

Not much on the line-up front tonight...

  • Head coach Dave Cameron didn't confirm any line-up changes this morning. He said that some players were "a little banged up" and wanted to talk with them first.
  • During the morning skate, Shane Prince skated on the 4th line with Curtis Lazar and Chris Neil while Mark Borowiecki moved back on D beside Chris Wideman.

Here's a look at the Sens projected line-up for tonight...

2. Goalies

Craig Anderson is back in goal tonight for the Sens. Andy had started every game for over a month before giving way to a healthy Andrew Hammond on Wednesday. Hammond serves as the back-up.

Nothing confirmed yet but it looks as if Alex Stalock will start in goal for the Sharks at the other end of the rink tonight.

3. Last meeting

These two teams last faced off on March 23rd, 2015 in Ottawa with the Sens securing a 5-2 win on home ice. Andrew Hammond stopped 29 of 31 while offensively the Sens saw 3-point efforts from Mike Hoffman (1+2) and Bobby Ryan (0+3).

4. Pre-Game Comments

As usual, Sens TV was all over the morning skate today and they've put together the very best quotes from the locker room in one place to help you get ready for tonight's game...

5. Broadcast

Tonight's game will be available on TSN5 and RDS as well as on the radio at TSN 1200. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m.
