Here are 5 things you need to know before tonight's game as the Sens get set to host the Buffalo Sabres.
A couple of changes and potential changes for tonight...
- Mika Zibanejad has missed the last two team skates due to an illness and as a result is listed as a game-time decision.
- Should Zibanejad miss tonight's game all signs point to Sens rookie Nick Paul playing his first career NHL game. Paul centered Shane Prince and Chris Neil today at the morning skate.
- Mark Borowiecki has also been absent from the last two team practices and will miss tonight after leaving the game in Columbus after a nasty looking collision with the endboards.
Here's a look at the Sens projected line-up for tonight...
Craig Anderson gets the call for tonight's game as he makes his 46th appearance of the season for the Sens. Andy's record on the year to date sits at 22-19-4. Andrew Hammond will back him up today.
Former Sens goalie Robin Lehner will start in goal for the Sabres at the other end of the rink today.
3. Last meeting
These two teams last faced off just three weeks ago in Ottawa with the Sabres earning a 3-2 win. Erik Karlsson and Bobby Ryan provided the offense for the Sens while Craig Anderson stopped 19 of 22 in defeat.
