Game Day 5: Sens vs Red Wings

Here are 5 things you need to know before tonight's game as the Sens get set to face the Detroit Red Wings.

1. Line-up

Some line-up notes for tonight...

  • No line changes from the Rangers game on Saturday.
  • Kyle Turris (who left parts of Saturday's game with an undisclosed injury) will be in the line-up tonight.

2. Goalies

Craig Anderson is set to make his 13th start or the season tonight against Detroit after a solid outing against the New York Rangers this past weekend (.971 save percentage). Andy's current record sits at 6-4-2 on the season.

Matt O'Connor will back Anderson up tonight after being recalled from Binghamton on an emergency basis yesterday. Hammond's injury isn't known but Cameron mentioned that it was probably something that has been building up over the past few days as opposed to one incident.

Jimmy Howard starts in goal for the Red Wings tonight.

3. Last meeting

These two teams last faced off against each other this past Halloween in Ottawa with the Detroit earning a 5-3 win. Mark Stone lead the Sens offensively notching a goal and an assist and you can watch the full highlights from the game below...

4. Game Promotions

There will be a couple of cool in-game promotions tonight as well. For starters, it's Mark Stone bobble head night and the first 7,500 people at tonight's game will get their very own.

5. Broadcast

Tonight's game will be available on TSN5 and RDS as well as on the radio at TSN 1200. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m.
