Game Day 5: Sens vs Penguins

Here are 5 things you need to know before tonight's game as the Sens get set to face the Pittsburgh Penguins.

1. Line-up

A couple of changes to the line-up tonight...

  • Both Marc Methot and Scott Gomez won't play tonight
  • Buddy Robinson draws in and is set to make his NHL debut
  • Ben Harpur is on his way back from Binghamton to fill Methot's spot
  • Here's a look at the Sens projected line-up for tonight...

    2. Goalies

    Andrew Hammond gets the start in goal tonight against the Penguins. In his last 4 starts Hammond has a sparkling save percentage of .936 to go along with a goals against average of 1.77. Craig Anderson will back him up tonight.

    Matt Murray starts in goal for the Penguins tonight.

    3. Last meeting

    It was a bit of a track meet the last time these teams faced-off back on February 2nd, 2016 in Pittsburgh with the Penguins outgunning the Sens 6-5. Cody Ceci (1G + 1A), Jean-Gabriel Pageau (1G + 1A), Mark Stone (1G + 1A) and Zack Smith (0G + 2A) all had multi-point games in defeat while Craig Anderson had 44 pucks sent his way.
