Game Day 5: Sens vs Islanders

We've got 5 crucial piece of info that you need to know before the puck drops for tonight's game against the New York Islanders.

1. Line-up

Some line-up notes for tonight...

  • Sens head coach Dave Cameron confirmed that Mika Zibanejad has been cleared and is ready to return the line-up.
  • David Dziurzynski was recalled from Binghamton this morning and will make his season debut tonight.

2. Goalies

Craig Anderson will make his 10th consecutive start tonight for the Sens. Andy's record on the season is 11-6-3 and he sports a save percentage of .916 and a goals against average of 2.81. Chris Driedger back-ups tonight.

It hasn't been confirmed yet but Jaroslav Halak appears to be in line to start tonight's game in Ottawa for the New York Islanders.

3. Last meeting

These two teams last faced off against each other back on March 13th, 2015 in Long Island with the Sens earning a clutch 2-1 road win. Matt Puempel and Kyle Turris provided the offense for Ottawa while Andrew Hammond stopped 34 of the 35 shots he faced.

5. Broadcast

Tonight's game will be available on CITY as well as on the radio at TSN 1200. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.
