Game Day 5: Sens @ Sabres

The Sens are in Buffalo tonight set to face the Sabres and we've got 5 things to help you get ready for puck drop.

1. Line-up

Some line-up notes for tonight...

  • Zack Smith is listed as a game-time decision for tonight. Coach confirmed that he is a bit under the weather.
  • If Smith can't go, then look for Matt Puempel to slot back into the line-up in his place.

2. Goalies

Craig Anderson will once again start in goal for the Sens tonight. Andy's record on the season sits at 29-21-4 and he sports a save percentage of 0.916% and a goals against average of 2.80. Andrew Hammond backs up him up.

Chad Johnson gets the start in goal tonight for the Sabres.

3. Last meeting

These teams squared off back on February 16th in Ottawa with the Sens earning a 2-1 shootout win. Ryan Dzingel's first career NHL goal was the Sens' lone tally in regulation while Bobby Ryan and Kyle Turris sealed the victory in the shootout. Craig Anderson was beyond solid making 39 saves to earn the decision.
