Game Day 5: Sens @ Jets

by Craig Medaglia / Ottawa Senators

The Sens are in Winnipeg tonight set to take on the Jets and we've got 5 things to help you get ready for game time.

1. Line-up

No changes are expected to the Sens forwards and defence as the coach mentioned that they would ice the same line-up as last game. One thing of note for tonight's game is that it will mark the 200th of Cody Ceci's NHL career.

And with that news here's a look at the Sens projected line-up for tonight...

2. Goalies

Sens goalie coach Rick Wamsley told the media yesterday that Andrew Hammond will get the start in goal tonight for the Sens. Hammond's record on the season sits at just 5-9-4 but his individual numbers have actually been fairly solid lately as he sports a save percentage of 0.936% and a goals against average of 2.00 in the month of March. Craig Anderson is on back-up duty with a high likelihood of starting the second half of the Sens' back-to-back tomorrow against the Wild.

Mike Hutchinson will start in goal tonight for the Jets.

3. Last meeting

Their most recent meeting was way back on November 5th, 2015 in Ottawa where the Sens won a thriller in the shootout. Cody Ceci and Bobby Ryan provided the offence for the Sens in regulation before the Sens ran the table in the shootout with Ryan, Kyle Turris and Mika Zibanejad all scoring to seal the victory. Craig Anderson was beyond sharp making 38 saves to earn the decision
