by Craig Medaglia / Ottawa Senators

We've got 5 things you need to know before the puck drops for tonight's game in Columbus.

1. Line-up

Some line-up notes for tonight...

  • Head coach Dave Cameron confirmed this morning that there will be no changes to the Sens line-up tonight.
  • The lines at practice were the same as the Home Opener on Sunday

According to the Blue Jacket's twitter account, here's how their line-up is looking for tonight...

Head coach Dave Cameron spoke with the media very briefly this more about some things he'd like to see changed from the Montreal Game:

"We were too passive in our own end. I thought we gave them too much time and space. We don't play man-on-man d-zone and that's what it looked like because we were hesitant on getting that second guy in for support. That's the big change I want to make."

2. Goalies

The coach confirmed that Craig Anderson will get the start in net while a healthy Andrew Hammond returns to the active roster and will back-up tonight. As a result of the Hamburglar returning Matt O'Connor has been reassigned to Binghamton after a solid effort in the Sens' Home Opener last weekend.

At the other end of the ice, Sergei Bobrovsky is set to make his fourth straight start for the Blue Jackets.

3. Last meeting

These two teams faced each other back on February 7th, 2014 and saw the Blue Jackets top a then struggling Senators squad 4-1. This game took place one week before the start of the Sens heroic run that saw them clinch the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference and a playoff berth.

4. Stat Corner

We turn to our good friends at @Media_Sens for some stats today as they dug up some encouraging numbers surrounding the team's #1 centre...

Turris finished last season with a FOW% of 50.1% which was tops on the team among centreman but 95th in the league.

5. Broadcast

Tonight's game will be available on Sportsnet 1 and TVAS and on the radio at TSN 1200. Puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m.
