TORONTO - Patrick Eaves scored 53 seconds into overtime to help the Ottawa Senators edge the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-3 on Monday night.
Christoph Schubert added two goals for Ottawa, which is 4-0 in the pre-season. Dany Heatley scored the other goal for the Senators.

Mats Sundin, John Pohl and Alexei Ponikarovsky scored for the Leafs (2-1-2).
With the game tied 3-3 in overtime, Jason Spezza stickhandled around Pavel Kubina on the left wing and slid a cross-crease pass to Eaves, who shovelled it past Andrew Raycroft.
Sundin opened the scoring at 1:21. Jason Blake passed from behind the net and Sundin, positioned between the circles, beat goaltender Martin Gerber on the glove side.
Ottawa jumped ahead with two goals in 29 seconds. Schubert ripped a slap shot from the circle to the right of Raycroft that went over the kneeling goalie's left shoulder at 10:49, and Heatley emerged from behind the net to the left of Raycroft to stickhandle around Bryan McCabe and sweep a shot into the far side of the net at 11:18.
Schubert made it 3-1 at 10:35 of the second period when he whipped a wrist shot from the circle to the left of Raycroft into the far side of the net.
Toronto answered with goals by Pohl and Ponikarovsky to tie the game.
The Senators return home Tuesday night to face the Philadelphia Flyers. It's a 7 p.m. start at Scotiabank Place.
