Ottawa Senators prospect Philippe Daoust has been loaned to the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL by the Belleville Senators.

Daoust has played 15 games with Belleville this season where he has registered five assists.
A sixth round pick by Ottawa in 2020, Daoust will be heading to new surroundings in the QMJHL. Saint John acquired the 20-year-old from Moncton Jan. 6. The Sea Dogs will host the 2022 Memorial Cup.

Saint John currently sits fifth in the Maritimes Division at 15-12-3. During his time with Moncton, Daoust had 57 points (13 goals) in 79 games, and tallied 28 points in 21 contests during the shortened 2020-21 season.
