The television picture for Ottawa Senators fans has begun to take shape.
Rest assured, there will be plenty for Sens Army faithful to watch from the comfort of their living rooms — or wherever the biggest TV resides in your home.
The National Hockey League revealed its national broadcast schedules
earlier this afternoon, which included games that will air on CBC's Hockey Night in Canada
, TSN, TSN2, the NHL Network, RDS, and RIS Info-Sports, along with NBC and Versus in the United States.
For Senators fans, the network breakdown looks like this: 18 dates on CBC (including regional broadcasts), 10 on TSN and another pair on TSN2. French-language viewers will be well served as well, with 20 telecasts slated for RDS and three more on RIS.
Among the schedule highlights:
*** Eight of the Senators' CBC appearances are on the road, including the first two — Oct. 9 in Toronto and Oct. 16 in Montreal — and the season finale, a 1 p.m. matinee April 9 in Boston. All 10 Senators home games on Saturdays this season are also Hockey Night
*** The Senators visit the Edmonton Oilers on Hockey Day in Canada
on Feb. 17. That's a 2 p.m. start on CBC.
*** Ottawa's slate of games on TSN includes four Thursday telecasts, three on Friday, two on Tuesday and one Wednesday date. The first is an Oct. 14 home game against the Carolina Hurricanes. One of the Thursdays is Dec. 2, when Dany Heatley makes his much-anticipated return to Scotiabank Place with the Sharks.

Also today, the Binghamton Senators released their 80-game American Hockey League schedule, which kicks off with a pair of home games at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. The Adirondack Phantoms are the visitors for the B-Sens' season opener Oct. 8, with the Norfolk Admirals providing the opposition the next night.
Senators face will get a chance to see some of the organization's top prospects on Nov. 26, when Binghamton faces off against the Hamilton Bulldogs at Scotiabank Place.
