Bulletin: Winchester returns to Senators after conditioning assignment

by Staff Writer / Ottawa Senators
OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced that forward Jesse Winchester has returned from the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, where he had been loaned on a two-week conditioning assignment since Oct. 23.

Winchester, 26, sustained a right-knee injury in the Senators’ 2-1 pre-season loss in Montreal on Sept. 18 and has yet to see regular-season action with Ottawa. In four games with the B-Sens, he recorded four points (two goals and two assists) and no penalty minutes.

An undrafted college free agent who signed with the Senators on March 24, 2008, Winchester has appeared in 77 National Hockey League contests, recording 18 points (three goals and 15 assists), while registering 35 penalty minutes.
