Bulletin: The Senators In Your Community From Oct. 8 to Oct. 14

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators’ year-long commitment to community outreach programs throughout the National Capital Region continues. The following is a look at the club’s community schedule from Friday, Oct. 8, to Thursday, Oct. 14.

Minor Hockey Pre-Game and Intermission Activities

On Friday, Oct. 8, Leanne Baker from the Kanata Rangers and Joey Benoit from the North Dundas Demons will be the Scotiabank Skaters in a pre-game ceremony at Scotiabank Place. Players from the Nepean Raiders will take part in the Esso on the Run Relay, an on-ice intermission activity to be held during the Senators home opener against the Buffalo Sabres.

Canadian Tire Hockey School

On Saturday, Oct. 9, the Canadian Tire Hockey School Skills Camp will be making a stop at Scotiabank Place. The camp will run two different sessions for players aged 4-12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The camp features off and on-ice training sessions with NHL alumni and coaches. Senators Alumni Laurie Boschman, Brad Marsh, and Shaun Van Allen will be taking part in the event. To register, please visit
