Bulletin: The Senators In Your Community From Oct. 23 to Oct. 29

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators year-long commitment to community outreach programs throughout the National Capital Region continues. The following is a look at the club’s community schedule from Friday, Oct. 23, to Thursday, Oct. 29.


Bayshore’s Ultimate Hockey Mom Tribute

Jason Spezza will be at Bayshore Shopping Centre on Friday, Oct. 23, from 5 p.m to 6 p.m. Spezza will be participating in live interviews with Majic 100 and the Team 1200 from 5 p.m. to 5:20 p.m., on the stage located on the lower level. Spezza will then partake in a private meet and greet with four “Ultimate Hockey Mom” contest winners as selected by Majic 100 and the Team 1200. Hockey Moms can also enter a contest for two additional spots in the meet and greet by filling out a ballot after 2 p.m. at Bayshore. The draw will be held at 4:30 p.m. Spezza will not be available for autographs.  

T.E.A.M Hockey Country hosting minor hockey intermission activities at Ottawa Senators home games

On Saturday, Oct. 24, T.E.A.M Hockey Country will once again be hosting 10 peewee hockey players from the Cumberland and the Kanata minor hockey associations (five from each) to take part in the Sport Chek Breakaway Relay. Along with the opportunity to skate on Scotiabank Place ice, all participants receive two tickets to see the Senators face the Boston Bruins.Teams are chosen at random from all T.E.A.M Hockey Country registrants. Minor hockey teams can register free for T.E.A.M. Hockey Country by visiting www.ottawasenators.com.
