Bulletin: The Senators In Your Community From Nov. 27 to Dec. 3

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators’ year-long commitment to community outreach programs throughout the National Capital Region continues. The following is a look at the club’s community schedule from Friday, Nov. 27, to Thursday, Dec. 3.

Spartacat appearances

Spartacat, the Senators’ ambassador of fun, will be visiting Loblaws Greenbank (3201 Greenbank Rd., Barrhaven, Ont.) from noon to 1 p.m on Saturday, Nov. 28. Spartacat will also make an appearance at Moncion’s Independent Grocer (685 River Rd., Gloucester, Ont.) on Sunday, Nov. 29, from noon to 1 p.m. 

Senators’ leaders in the community

Senators president Cyril Leeder and chief financial officer Erin Crowe will be attending the 19th annual Christmas Cheer Breakfast at the Westin Hotel on Dec. 3. They will assist in serving breakfast from 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The Christmas Cheer Breakfast serves as Ottawa’s largest networking breakfast event and a time to celebrate, reconnect and give thanks. The Westin’s culinary team create a fabulous breakfast served by Ottawa’s celebrities and politicians. Leeder will also speak on CFRA Radio between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Leeder and Crowe will also  be in attendance for the Norm Sterling Event at the Westin Hotel from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 3. This is an evening with Norm Sterling, Progressive Conservative MPP for the riding of Carleton–Mississippi Mills and John Baird, Conservative MP for the riding of OttawaWest–Nepean.
