Bulletin: The Senators In Your Community From April 30 to May 6

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators’ year-long commitment to community outreach programs throughout the National Capital Region continues. The following is a look at the club’s community schedule from Friday, April 30, to Thursday, May 6.


Erin Crowe named Ottawa Business Woman of the Year

Erin Crowe, executive vice-president, chief financial officer and alternate governor with Senators Sports & Enterntainment, was the recipient of the Corporate Business Woman of the Year award at the Ottawa Women's Business Network Awards Gala held Thursday, April 29, at the Hampton Inn and Conference Centre.

Crowe will guest in-studio on Rogers Daytime on Wednesday, May 5, between 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.

Senators Sports & Entertainment at McDonald’s McHappy Day

Senators Sports & Entertainment employees, including team president Cyril Leeder, will participate in McDonald’s McHappy Day on Wednesday, May 5, at various locations throughout the capital region.

Spartacat appearances

Spartacat, the Senators’ ambassador of fun, will be at the 2010 Walk for Kids Help Phone on Sunday, May 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Vincent Massey Park (Riverside Drive at Heron Road, Ottawa). Sparty will visit the Bell Sensplex later on Sunday for the opening ceremonies of the 2010 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. On Wednesday, May 5, Spartacat will join Senators employees in McDonald’s McHappy Day at Stittsville (1250 Main Street) and Kanata (510 Hazeldean Road) locations between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
