Bulletin: Sens President’s Luncheon scheduled for Nov. 19

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators and team president Cyril Leeder will host the first of two President’s Luncheons on Thursday, Nov. 19, at Scotiabank Place’s Club Red. Senators season-ticket holders were provided the exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets to attend an afternoon of lunch and hockey talk beginning at 12:15 p.m.


The highlight of the luncheon will feature a panel discussion on relevant topics affecting the game today with Senators director of player development and hockey administration Randy Lee, Pittsburgh Penguins executive vice-president and general manager Ray Shero and former National Hockey League defenceman and current television broadcaster Garry Galley.

Senators fans and season ticket holders unable to attend Thursday’s luncheon will be able to watch the panel discussion live on Sens TV at www.ottawasenators.com beginning at 12:45 p.m.

The Senators will also offer season-ticket holders the opportunity to participate in the President’s Luncheon on Tuesday, Feb. 9, prior to Ottawa hosting the Calgary Flames. Season-ticket holders will be sent information on how to purchase tickets for the final session of the season.

Past luncheons have highlighted NHL commissioner Gary Bettman, St. Louis Blues president John Davidson, Boston Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli, Philadelphia Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren, and general manager Bryan Murray, Daniel Alfredsson, Alex Kovalev and Alex Picard of the Senators.
