OTTAWA – The Ottawa Senators will hold a public open house at Scotiabank Place on Wednesday, March 26, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for those persons interested in purchasing a season-ticket package for the 2008-09 season. The open house will give fans access to the best available season-seat locations at all price levels.
Those persons who purchase a season-ticket package at Wednesday’s open house will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the 2008 Stanley Cup playoffs and will be automatically entered into a draw for a chance to win their season tickets for the 2008-09 season. Fans who have been referred by an existing season-ticket holder are asked to bring their account number with them to allow the existing ticket holder to be entered into the same draw.
The Senators’ season-ticket base surpassed the 13,500 mark during the 2007-08 season, with a goal to surpass 15,000 in the near future. Tonight’s game against the St. Louis Blues is expected to be the Senators’ 30th straight sellout (a franchise record), and with fewer than 1,500 tickets remaining for the last five home games of the season, it is anticipated that the Senators will sell out Scotiabank Place for a record 38 times in 41 regular-season games.
