The Ottawa Senators announced today that Tuesday night’s home game against the Philadelphia Flyers will serve as the team’s annual Fan Appreciation Night, when fans in attendance will be eligible to win prizes throughout the evening. Following the game, 20 lucky Senators season-seat owners will receive a game-worn jersey that was used by one of the team’s players during the contest.
The winning fans will be randomly selected from season-seat and suite owners who have renewed their tickets for the 2011-12 season. The winners will be announced to the crowd during the first and second periods of Tuesday’s game.
Following the game, the winning fans will step onto the ice to receive a randomly selected player jersey. Each Senators player will take off their jersey, autograph it and present it to the recipient.
In addition to the ‘Jerseys Off Our Backs’ event, Fan Appreciation Night will feature hundreds of prizes (with an estimated total value of more than $15,000) given away to lucky Sens fans in attendance, courtesy of the team’s sponsors and partners.
Tickets for each of the two Senators’ remaining home games can be purchased by visiting www.CapitalTickets.ca, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at The Sens Store at Rideau Centre and Place d’Orléans; at any Ottawa Sports Experts location, Les Galeries de Hull and at the Scotiabank Place box office.
The Senators will conclude the home portion of their 2010-11 schedule when they host the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday, April 7, at 7 p.m.
