OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators Fan Fest, presented by Canadian Tire, returns to Scotiabank Place on Saturday, Sept. 18. This year’s event features two Senators practices, interactive games with the Sens Street Tour, the One Change fuel-efficiency campaign, as well as prizes and entertainment throughout Scotiabank Place.
Spartacat, the Senators’ ambassador of fun, will open Scotiabank Place doors at 9:30 a.m., with interactive components from the Sens Street Tour, and entertainers such as balloonists and face painters set for a festive atmosphere at the Gate 1 plaza.
Sens fans attending Fan Fest can give back to Hockey Country by contributing a non-perishable food item or by making a monetary donation to help the Ottawa Food Bank and Kanata Food Cupboard stock their supplies for the upcoming fall season. Fans will then have the opportunity to watch the Senators training camp Group I take to the ice at 10 a.m., followed by Group II at 11:45 a.m. for practice.
Free parking is available for Fan Fest guests at Scotiabank Place in Lots 5, 7 or 9. Fan Fest will conclude at approximately 1 p.m.
