OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today reassigned goaltender Kelly Guard to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.
Guard received his first emergency call-up of the season on Nov. 7 to replace Ray Emery. The 23-year-old did not see any game action, but served as the Senators' back-up goaltender in four games.
Guard has a 3-4-1 record, a .898 save percentage and 2.87 goals-against average in eight games with Binghamton this season.
Binghamton's next game takes place tonight, when they host the Albany River Rats at 7:05 p.m.
