OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators have today reassigned goaltender Kelly Guard to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

This was the fourth call-up of the season for Guard. The Prince Albert, Sask., native has served as the Senators' back-up goaltender in seven games, most recently in Ottawa's 4-3 victory over the Edmonton Oilers.

In 31 games played this season in the AHL, Guard has nine wins, 16 regulation time losses and three shootout losses. The 23-year-old also has a 0.894 save percentage and 3.38 goals-against average.

Binghamton's next game is tonight, when they host the Manchester Monarchs. The Senators are in seventh place in the AHL's East Division with 16 wins, 29 losses, two overtime losses and five shootout losses for 39 points.
