OTTAWA – The Ottawa Senators today recalled left-winger Nick Foligno from the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

This is the fourth recall of the season for Foligno, who has recorded six goals, three assists, 16 penalty minutes and a +1 rating in 37 games with Ottawa. He played his first NHL game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Oct. 3 and scored his first goal against Carey Price of the Montreal Canadiens on Oct. 18.

In 22 games with the B-Sens, the 19-year-old has two goals, 11 assists and 10 penalty minutes.

Binghamton is in sixth place in the AHL’s East Division with 59 points from 25 wins, 22 losses, five overtime losses and four shootout losses. The club’s next game is tonight, when it visits the Rochester Americans.

Foligno was Ottawa’s first-round pick, 28th overall, in the 2006 NHL entry draft.
