– The Ottawa Senators today recalled defenceman Brian Lee and forward Ilya Zubov
from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.
This is Lee’s second recall in less than a month. After playing in the first five games of the season with the NHL club, he was assigned to Binghamton on Oct. 22 before being recalled on Nov. 28. In 20 AHL games, the 21-year old has one goal, five assists, 20 penalty minutes and an even rating. Lee recorded two assists and two penalty minutes in six games with the Senators this season.
Zubov, also in his second recall in a month, did not record any points in his four games with Ottawa from Nov. 14 to Nov. 22. In 21 games with the B-Sens, the 21-year old centre leads the team in scoring with 10 goals and 15 assists. He also has 14 penalty minutes and a +5 rating.
The Binghamton Senators (12-9-2-3) travel to Albany tonight to face the River Rats.
