Bulletin: Senators recall goaltender Mike Brodeur from Binghamton

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today recalled goaltender Mike Brodeur from the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. He is recalled for a sixth time on an emergency basis to replace an injured Pascal Leclaire.

Brodeur has made four National Hockey League appearances this season, posting a 4.33 goals-against-average and .833 save percentage. He made his first start of the season in Ottawa’s loss to the Montreal Canadiens on Jan. 21.

The Calgary native has played in four games with Binghamton this season, posting a 2-2-0 record with a 2.82 goals-against-average and .899 save percentage. In four games with the East Coast Hockey League’s Elmira Jackals, he has a 3-1-0 record, with a 2.59 goals-against-average and .912 save percentage.

The Senators return to action this evening when they host the Buffalo Sabres at 7:30 p.m.
