OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today recalled forward Stephane Da Costa from the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

Da Costa, 22, began the season with Ottawa, registering five points (three goals, two assists) and eight penalty minutes over 22 contests before being assigned to the B-Sens on Nov. 27. In 21 games with Binghamton this season, he has recorded nine goals and 10 assists for 19 points.

Signed as an undrafted college free agent by the Senators on March 31, 2011, the Paris native made his NHL debut last April 2 against Toronto. He scored his first NHL goal in Ottawa’s 6-5 loss at Toronto on Oct. 8.

The Senators continue their six-game road trip on Saturday, when they visit the Anaheim Ducks at 4 p.m. EST, a contest which will be televised by Sportsnet East. The B-Sens host Hershey in their next game this evening at 7:05 p.m.
