Bulletin: Senators re-assign goaltender Robin Lehner to Binghamton (AHL)

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today re-assigned goaltender Robin Lehner to the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. Lehner was recalled to Ottawa for a fifth time this season on Feb. 14.

A native of Goteborg, Sweden, Lehner has appeared in seven NHL games this season and has a record of one win and four losses while posting a 3.52 goals-against average. He has a record of 7-6-2 with a 2.67 goals-against average and .912 save percentage in 17 games with the B-Sens this season.

Lehner, 19, made his first NHL start and became the youngest goaltender to start a game for the Senators, stopping 20 shots in Ottawa’s 6-4 win over the New York Islanders on Jan. 13.

The B-Sens, in fourth place in the AHL’s East Division with a 32-21-3-4 record and 71 points, next see action tomorrow when they host the Albany Devils at 7:05 p.m.
