Bulletin: Senators re-assign five players to Binghamton

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today re-assigned defencemen André Benoit, David Hale and Patrick Wiercioch, along with forwards Erik Condra and Roman Wick to the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

Benoit, 27, has an assist and four penalty minutes in six National Hockey League games this season. He leads all B-Sens defencemen with 54 points on 10 goals and 44 assists in 72 matches.

Hale has notched one goal, four assists and six penalty minutes in 23 outings with Ottawa. In 35 games with Binghamton, the 29-year-old has scored two goals, four assists and 32 penalty minutes.

Wiercioch, 20, has two assists and four penalty minutes in eight NHL games this season and four goals, 12 assists and 21 penalty minutes with Binghamton.

The 24-year-old Condra has scored six goals, five assists and added 12 penalty minutes in 24 games with Ottawa. He has recorded 17 goals, 29 assists and 28 penalty minutes in 54 games with the B-Sens.

Wick, 25, has gone scoreless in seven games with Ottawa and has 19 goals, 22 assists and 24 penalty minutes in 67 games with Binghamton.

The B-Sens next see action tonight when they host the Norfolk Admirals at 7:05 p.m.
