Bulletin: Senators host Development Camp 5-on-5 scrimmage this evening at the Bell Sensplex

by Staff Writer / Ottawa Senators
OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators continue their annual development camp by hosting a full team scrimmage for the second time this evening. After the success of last summer’s inaugural event, the 5-on-5 team scrimmage will begin at 7 p.m. at the Bell Sensplex.

Ottawa’s prospects will be divided into two teams to participate in simulated game action for one hour. Senators season-seat owners have been invited to attend a question-and-answer session with team president Cyril Leeder, assistant general manager Tim Murray, director of player personnel Pierre Dorion and new head coach Paul MacLean after the conclusion of the game. The session will be moderated by team broadcaster Gord Wilson. A meet-and-greet reception with players also follows the scrimmage. Both events will take place in the Bell Sensplex Fieldhouse.

The scrimmage will also serve as preparation for the annual round-robin 3-on-3 tournament, which closes out the camp next Monday. Both events will be open to the public and take place on the Scotiabank ice surface at the Bell Sensplex.
