Bulletin: Senators host Development Camp 5-on-5 scrimmage this evening at the Bell Sensplex

by Staff Writer / Ottawa Senators
OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators continue their annual development camp by hosting a full team scrimmage for the first time this evening. The 5-on-5 team scrimmage is set for a 6:30 p.m. start at the Bell Sensplex.

Ottawa’s prospects will be divided into two teams and participate in simulated game action for a period of one hour. Senators season seat holders have been invited to attend a question-and-answer session with Senators assistant general manager Tim Murray, director of player personnel Pierre Dorion and director of player development and hockey administration Randy Lee at the conclusion of the game. The session will be moderated by team broadcaster Gord Wilson. A meet-and-greet reception with players also follows the scrimmage. Both events will take place in Stanley’s Fresh Grill and Team Headquarters.

The scrimmage will also serve as preparation for the annual round-robin 3-on-3 tournament, which closes out the camp next Monday. Both events will be open to the public and take place on the Scotiabank ice surface at the Bell Sensplex.
