The Ottawa Senators today assigned left-winger Nick Foligno
to the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.
Foligno was recalled by the Senators for the fourth time this season on Feb. 22. In 44 games with the Senators this season, he has recorded six goals, three assists and 20 penalty minutes.
In 22 games with the B-Sens, the 20-year-old has two goals, 11 assists and 10 penalty minutes.
Binghamton is in fifth place in the AHL’s East Division with 73 points from 31 wins, 27 losses, seven overtime losses and four shootout losses. The club’s next game is on March 21 when it hosts the Providence Bruins.
Foligno was Ottawa’s first-round pick, 28th overall, in the 2006 NHL entry draft.
