Bulletin: Senators Alumni to host sold-out hockey tournament in support of Camp Smitty

OTTAWA - The Senators Alumni announced that the fourth annual Ottawa Senators Alumni Hockey Classic, on Nov. 13 and 14 at the Bell Sensplex has sold out of team spots in the four divisions of play. The alumni have partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa to rejuvenate and expand Camp Smitty, and have committed $500,000 towards this objective.

Corporate tickets and tables are still available for one of the weekend’s highlights – the Hall of Fame reception on Friday, Nov. 13. This event includes a dinner and features special Montreal Canadiens alumni Jean Béliveau, Yvan Cournoyer and Serge Savard.

The 24-team charitable hockey tournament guarantees three games for each of the participating teams, team VIP passes to the event’s reception on Nov. 13, interaction with the Sens alumni and several terrific gifts. Teams signed up for $1,500, with all monies raised from the tournament going to support the rejuvenation of Camp Smitty.
