Red Zone festivities continue in round two

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced today that playoff tickets for all games in round two go on sale Monday, May 1 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased on-line at, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at any Sport Experts location in the Ottawa-Gatineau area and at Scotiabank Place's box office.

Scotiabank Place attendance information for home playoff Senators games:
Playoff game-high attendance: 20,004 against Tampa Bay in game two on April 29, 2006
Playoff total attendance: 59,409 (game one: 19,660; game two: 19,745; game three: 20,004) (3 consecutive sellouts from April 21 to April 29)
Playoff average attendance: 19,803 over 3 games

After tremendous success in round one, the Ottawa Senators are pleased to announce the Red Zone party returns in round two and for all home games during the 2006 Stanley Cup playoffs. The Red Zone, presented by Molson Canadian, is the gathering place for pre-game revelers at Scotiabank Place. The revved-up version of the pre-game party kicks off three hours before each home game at the Gate 1 plaza and continues in the tent following the game.

The Ottawa Senators Paint the town red contest is still open for entries in round two. Fans are encouraged to send videos or photos that demonstrate how they are painting the town red during the 2006 Stanley Cup playoffs.

Fans receive a free 2006 Stanley Cup poster by bringing their tickets or vouchers found in the Ottawa Citizen to participating Ottawa-Gatineau Chevrolet or Pontiac dealerships. Fans can also bring tickets to participating Scotiabank branches to obtain free banking for a full year.
