OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators Foundation announced today details for its Roger's House Telethon presented by The Outcare Foundation. The telethon will be held in support of Roger's House on Tuesday, Feb. 20, in conjunction with the Rogers Sportsnet's broadcast of the Senators game against the Edmonton Oilers.
Roger's House, which opened in May 2006, provides pediatric palliative care with the objective of enhancing the comfort and quality of life for children and their families, who live with life-limiting illnesses.
START TIME - The telethon will air at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 20, one hour before the Senators-Oilers game. There will be updates during the game and intermissions, and an extended post-game show.
BROADCAST - The Senators-Oilers game, as well as the telethon, will be broadcast on the Rogers Sportsnet network throughout eastern Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada. The broadcast will also feature stories of families who have received palliative care at Roger's House.
HOSTS - Rob Faulds of Rogers Sportsnet and Leanne Cusack of CTV Ottawa will host the event.

GUESTS - Special telethon guests will include: Roy Mlakar, president and chief executive officer of the Ottawa Senators and Scotiabank Place; wives and girlfriends of Senators players; Senators alumni, representatives from Roger's House and many other special guests.
