Bulletin: Final Sens Fans First luncheon of the season scheduled for March 9

OTTAWA – The Ottawa Senators fourth and final Fans First luncheon of the season will take place Monday, March 9, at 12:30 p.m. The program will feature a panel discussion with Ottawa 67’s general manager and head coach Brian Kilrea, Senators head coach Cory Clouston, newly acquired Senators goaltender Pascal Leclaire and TSN hockey analyst Pierre McGuire.


The 90-minute luncheon, hosted by Senators CEO and president Roy Mlakar, is a Fans First event for more than 200 season-ticket and suite holders.

Past luncheons have highlighted NHL commissioner Gary Bettman, St. Louis Blues president John Davidson, Boston Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli, Philadelphia Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren, and Bryan Murray, Daniel Alfredsson and Alex Picard from the Senators.

Other Fans First initiatives for this season have included, among other programs, the conference call this week with fans and hockey management, two open practices on Saturday game days and three more to come before the end of the season, as well as over of 10,000 seats made available for minor hockey players, students and their families. Fans First will continue next season with a complete program, which will include price freezes on season tickets, open practices, luncheons and contests.
