The Ottawa Senators announced today that fewer than 4,500 tickets remain for Thursday’s 7 p.m. home game against the Southeast Division’s Carolina Hurricanes at Scotiabank Place.
The Hurricanes arrive in Ottawa to begin a five-game road trip and will be playing their first game of the season in North America following a two-game sweep of the Minnesota Wild last weekend in Finland, where the club participated in this year’s NHL Premiere series.
Tomorrow’s game against Carolina serves as Kids Opening Night and is sponsored by Metro, providing fans the opportunity to score four tickets, four hotdogs and four drinks, starting at only $99. Local children will take part in events throughout the evening, including the singing of the national anthem, public address announcements and a ceremonial opening faceoff. Pre-game activities for children include facepainting, a live band and the attendance of more than a dozen local mascots.
Tickets for all October and November home games are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting www.CapitalTickets.ca, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at The Sens Store at Rideau Centre and Place d’Orléans; at any Ottawa Sports Experts location, Les Galeries de Hull and at the Scotiabank Place box office.
