Bulletin: Fewer than 3,000 tickets available for Thursday’s game against Tampa Bay

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced today that fewer than 3,000 tickets remain for Thursday’s 7:30 p.m. home game against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Scotiabank Place, including more than 450 seats in the Coke Zero Zone priced at only $17 including taxes.


The Lightning, who will be making their second and final regular-season stop in Ottawa on Thursday, are captained by former Maurice Richard Trophy recipient Vincent Lecavalier and led in scoring (tie) by Steven Stamkos, the top overall pick in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Thursday’s game will mark the third of four meetings between the teams this season, with each having won on home ice.

Thursday’s game against the Lightning is the sixth annual Canadian Forces Appreciation night at Scotiabank Place, dedicated to soliders, sailors and air personnel who are currently deployed or have recently returned from overseas missions.

Saturday, Nov. 7, vs. New Jersey: Fewer than 2,000 tickets remain, including more than 250 seats in the Coke Zero Zone priced at only $17 including taxes. The Devils, last season’s Atlantic Division winners, are anchored by four-time Vezina Trophy-winning goaltender Martin Brodeur, who currently trails Terry Sawchuk by one in his bid to equal the NHL’s all-time shutout record. Saturday’s game against the Devils is sponsored by Metro.
