The Ottawa Senators announced today that fewer than 1,750 tickets remain for tomorrow’s 7 p.m. home game against the Florida Panthers at Scotiabank Place. Following the game against Florida, the Senators will have only two regular-season home games remaining this season.
The Senators enter tonight’s game in Buffalo one point ahead of Montreal to rank fifth in the Eastern Conference standings. The Canadiens defeated the Panthers 4-1 on Thursday evening in Montreal and have played one more game than the Senators to this point in the campaign. Florida trails the eighth-seeded Boston Bruins by seven points for the conference’s final playoff position.
The Senators and Panthers have split their first two encounters of the season, with each club winning on the road, and will complete their regular-season series on Tuesday, April 6, in Sunrise, Fla. The season series finale is currently scheduled to mark the 1,000th NHL game of Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson
’s career. The team will recognize Alfredsson with a celebratory tribute prior to their final home game of the season on Saturday, April 10, against Buffalo. Fewer than 350 tickets remain for the 7 p.m. game. Each fan attending the April 10 game will receive a free commemorative T-shirt in recognition of the event.
Tickets for all remaining home games are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting www.CapitalTickets.ca, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at The Sens Store at Rideau Centre and Place d’Orléans; at any Ottawa Sports Experts location and at the Scotiabank Place box office.
