OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced today that fewer than 150 tickets remain for the 2012 National Hockey League All-Star Weekend, which includes the NHL Skills Competition on Saturday, Jan. 28, and the 2012 Tim Hortons NHL All-Star Game Sunday, Jan. 29, at Scotiabank Place.
The remaining tickets to the all-star weekend are currently available to Senators season-seat owners. The all-star ticket package includes two 300-level tickets for both the skills competition and the all-star game, and a Senators 10-game regular-season ticket pack with two tickets to each game. The package also includes two 300-level tickets to a bonus game, along with a heritage scarf and autographed puck (while supplies last).

The 2012 NHL All-Star Weekend will take place from Thursday, Jan. 26, to Sunday, Jan. 29, with events taking place throughout the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Fan voting for the all-star game is currently underway, with Senators fans having the opportunity to vote for up to five Ottawa players to participate in the game, a group that includes forwards Daniel Alfredsson, Milan Michalek and Jason Spezza, along with defencemen Sergei Gonchar and Erik Karlsson. After the first week of fan of voting, Karlsson leads all NHL defencemen, while Alfredsson leads all forwards.
To vote for Senators players, fans can visit www.nhl.com/vote. Ballots can also be cast via a mobile device, either by text message using any wireless phone and carrier, or via a mobile ballot available in English and in French.
To vote by text message using any wireless carrier, fans should text their favourite player’s last name to the shortcode 81812. For example, sending a text message “Alfredsson” to 81812 would cast a vote for captain Daniel Alfredsson. Message and data rates may apply. The mobile ballot is available on Blackberry, iPhone, Android and other mobile devices, using any wireless carrier.
