It won't be a surprise to anyone tonight that Craig Anderson
will start in goal tonight when the Sens are introduced for their final regular season home game in 2013.
Anderson has frustrated the Flyers his whole career, posting a 7-2-1 record with a .921 save percentage and 2.77 GAA in 11 games. He has yet to play the Flyers this season with the season series at 1-1-0 through two games.
He was a big reason why the Sens clinched their playoff berth on Thursday night, stopping 19 of 20 Washington shots en route to the 2-1 overtime win. And, in fairness to Anderson, the one that did get by him was a beautiful partial breakaway move from Alexander Ovechkin. It happens.
The home ice should be an added boost for Anderson as well. This season inside Scotiabank Place, Andy is 8-2-2 with a 1.64 GAA and .945 save percentage.
