The Buffalo Sabres announced that centerman Tim Connolly has an upper body musculoskeletal injury and will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis.
Connolly was injured on Nov. 12 during the team’s 4-3 win against the St. Louis Blues after taking a hard hit from winger Keith Tkachuk.
Connolly played the following game on Friday, Nov. 14 against the Blue Jackets but missed Saturday’s game against the Penguins.
In six games this season Connolly has recorded seven points (2+5). The centerman missed the first 10 games of the year due to a pair of fractured vertebrae in his back.
