Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced today the team has assigned six players to the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League. Forwards Philip Gogulla and Feliz Schutz were also returned to their DEL clubs in Germany. This leaves the Sabres with 28 players still in training camp.
Heading to Rochester are forwards Dylan Hunter and Patrick Kaleta
; defensemen Mike Card, Marc-Andre Gragnani and Mike Weber
; and goaltender Adam Dennis.
Buffalo’s next preseason action is in Toronto on Wednesday (7:30 p.m.), followed by a trip to Pittsburgh on Friday (7:30 p.m.). Every Sabres preseason game can be heard on Sports Radio WGR AM 550.
Buffalo hosts Pittsburgh in their final game of the preseason on Saturday, September 29 at HSBC Arena beginning at 7 p.m. The Sabres will be holding an autograph session following the game. The autograph session will begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the game, and will run for up to one hour. Sabres players will be seated at tables located throughout the 100, 200 and 300 levels of HSBC Arena. There is a limit of one autograph per person, per player. There is no guarantee that fans will receive an autograph from every player.
