Back-to-back games again for Buffalo, starting tonight in St. Catharines against Toronto. Who's in and who's out of the lineup? We'll find out for you after today's 10 a.m. morning skate, but for now, here's what you need to know on this cloudy Wednesday morning.

How to catch tonight's game

TSN's feed of the game will air on MSG tonight. You can listen to the game on WGR 550, where Rick Jeanneret and Rob Ray will have the call. Faceoff from Meridian Centre is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Welcome back

Jack Eichel and Dmitry Kulikov took the ice yesterday for their first practices of training camp. Both are back from the World Cup of Hockey and eager to start the NHL season. However, we do know that neither will be in the lineup tonight. There's a chance Kulikov could dress for tomorrow night's game at KeyBank Center, but don't expect Eichel in a game until at least Tuesday's preseason game in Marquette, Michigan.

Let's hear from Eichel:
"I think there are numbers and goals in the back of your mind but I think, for the most part, we all have the same one: Make the playoffs. You can say make the hunt or whatever. I think we have the guys in the room and I think that we all believe in ourselves. We have the team to do it."

And here is Kulikov after his first practice as a Sabre.

Scoreboard Watching

The reason tonight's game will be played at Meridian Centre? The World Cup of Hockey is still going on over at Air Canada Centre. Ryan O'Reilly and Team Canada hold a 1-0 lead over Team Europe in the best-of-three final and can close it out tonight with a victory. While the Sabres game is in a commercial break, you can flip over to ESPN2 starting at 8 p.m. to see how the Sabres alternate captain and his fellow countrymen are doing.

Should have gone with the Happy Gilmour stance

How hard is it to sink a putt wearing hockey gloves? Lauren Hall wanted to find out so she challenged Brian Gionta, Zach Bogosian, Brian Duff, Marcus Foligno, Zemgus Girgensons, Nicolas Deslauriers, Kevyn Adams and Dan Bylsma at last week's Buffalo Sabres Foundation Golf Tournament.

On Tap Today

Expect our usual pregame coverage with a written preview by Jourdon LaBarber and a video preview from Brian Duff. We'll fill you in on the lineup news and storylines you should be following.

After the game, don't miss Jourdon's written recap. We'll also have locker room interviews with players and Sabres coach Dan Bylsma.

If you're not able to make it to tomorrow night's game against Toronto at KeyBank Center, turn on MSG because RJ, Rayzor, MayDay , Duffer and Dan Dunleavy (who clearly needs a snazzy nickname) will all be in the house for the broadcast.
