SABRES, SALVATION ARMY TO HOLD KETTLE DRIVE

by Staff Writer / Buffalo Sabres
The Buffalo Sabres have announced that The Salvation Army will launch its annual holiday kettle drive on Wednesday, November 4 prior to the New York Islanders game at 7 p.m.

Salvation Army officers will be located at arena entrances prior to the contest accepting kettle donations. Sabretooth will be located throughout the pavilion entrance helping to facilitate contributions from fans.

This campaign is vital in its effort to aid the poor and homeless in our hometown community.

Since 1884, The Salvation Army has been a vital link within Western New York’s human service network. The mission of The Salvation Army is to offer hope for a better life by meeting basic human needs: providing individuals regardless of age, gender, education, ethnicity or religion with food, clothing and shelter, as well as social and spiritual support.
