The Buffalo Sabres today announced the “Party in the Plaza” will return for Game Five of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinal between Buffalo and Boston.

The pre-game festivities get underway at 5 p.m., outside HSBC Arena, in the Plaza area located near Perry and Illinois St. There will not be a tent for Friday’s party. Fans can enjoy the action from a telescopic screen with plenty of sightlines. In addition, there will be live music from ‘That 80’s Hair Band’, along with concession food and drink available for purchase throughout the night, additional serving stations will be provided to expedite service.

Fans should be aware that Perry Street will be closed in front of the building starting at 4 p.m. on Friday to accommodate for overflow patrons. Friday’s weather forecast looks favorable. The party will take place rain or shine with free admission, as a game ticket will not be required for entrance to the party.
