The Buffalo Sabres chose goaltender Jhonas Enroth with the first of the team's pair of second-round selections at 46th overall.

Enroth (5'10'', 174 lbs.) was the top ranked European goaltender in the draft by the Central Scouting Service and boasted an impressive .924 save percentage for Sodertalje in the Swedish Junior League.

A native of Stockholm, Sweden, Enroth is considered one of the best goaltending prospects to come out of that country in recent years.

A smart but well-balanced netminder, Enroth has good reflexes, quick legs, and a very fast glove. He likes to challenge shooters as much as possible.

A calm competitor, the prospect has made a reputation of being a big-game goalie that can deliver timely saves.
