The Buffalo Sabres announced today they are hosting an NHL Entry Draft Party at HSBC Arena on Saturday, June 24 from 5:30 - 9 p.m. The event is free, and open to fans of all ages.
Sabres fans are invited to come down to HSBC Arena to watch televised coverage of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, broadcast live from GM Place in Vancouver beginning at 6 p.m. WGR Sports Radio 550 will also broadcast live from HSBC Arena throughout the event, featuring hosts Brad Riter and Jeremy White, with reports from Paul Hamilton on-site in Vancouver.
There will be food and drink, free parking, and appearances from current Sabres players, Sabres Alumni and Sabretooth. Kids will also have the opportunity to experience several interactive games, and play street hockey on the floor of HSBC Arena. Participants under 12 years of age will be required to wear a helmet. Sticks will be provided.
Sabres ticket sales representatives will be on hand for Select-A-Seat, giving fans an up-close look at available season ticket locations for the upcoming season. Appearances from Hall of Famer Gilbert Perreault, Andrew Peters and Sabretooth.
Fans are also encouraged to stop by the Sabres Store for their annual year-end blowout sale on everything from team merchandise to game-used equipment.
