Rasmus Dahlin is going home.
The NHL announced Thursday that Dahlin and the Sabres will participate in the 2019 NHL Global Series with a pair of regular-season games against Victor Hedman and the Tampa Bay Lightning at Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden on Friday, Nov. 8 and Saturday, Nov. 9.
Tickets go on sale beginning at 4 a.m. ET (9 a.m. CET) on Wednesday, March 27 at www.livenation.se.

The NHL returns to Stockholm, Sweden

The Sabres last played overseas in 2011, when they opened their season with victories over Los Angeles and Anaheim in Helsinki, Finland and Berlin, Germany.
Buffalo's roster is laden with Swedish-born players, headlined by Dahlin. The list also includes Johan Larsson and Linus Ullmark, while young players like Rasmus Asplund, Alexander Nylander, Lawrence Pilut and Victor Olofsson could be in positions to compete for NHL roster spots next fall. Nylander scored his first NHL goal of the season against Toronto on Wednesday.
The two games between Buffalo and Tampa Bay will mark the 12th and 13th NHL regular-season games played in Sweden, and the 11th and 12th games played at Ericsson Globe in Stockholm.
The 2019 Global Series will also include season-opening game between the Chicago Blackhawks and Philadelphia Flyers in Prague, Czech Republic on Friday, Oct. 4 at O2 Arena.
